1DAAT (formerly McLemore Holdings) was created by a homeless man who suffered from various barriers hindering his ability to secure safe and affordable housing. Gainfully employed, but still living on a garage floor. After several long months, he finally found a place he could call home. Unfortunately, his first rental unit was owned by a predatory landlord. Forced to pay an exorbitant amount of rent, for a very small space, caused the cycle to continue and he was eventually homeless once again. This time with debt, a deeply damaged credit score, no savings, and a documented eviction (Unlawful Detainer).

1DAAT was created to fill a void in critical housing education that is NOT being shared with the masses. If we knew better - we would do better. 1DAAT’s foundation is our holistic housing education - that shakes our participants out of apathy and into an intimate understanding of how to find success in THEIR housing.

Since our inception in Spring of 2016, 1DAAT’s hands-on learning environment has successfully assisted over 1,000 single adults and families in securing housing. Whether it's rental properties, single-family homes, trailer parks, or personal investments, we’ve helped our community find stability and success in diverse housing options.

Over 150 Single Adults and Families housed every year!

Nearly 700 students have participated in our Housing Continuum Courses. 

588 adults have successfully moved through our Theory of Housing Stabilization.
